RESTORE Team Member Feature: Angelo D'Alessandro

As a Co-Investigator for the RESTORE Project, Angelo is leading efforts in mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, lipidomics, and proteomics. He is a tenured Full Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, where he also serves as Director of the Metabolomics Core and the Mass Spectrometry Shared Resource for the University of Colorado Cancer Center. His research, supported by NHLBI, NIDDK, NIGMS, and BARDA, has resulted in over 630 publications. Angelo is the founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Omix Technologies Inc. and Altis Biosciences, and serves on the advisory boards of Hemanext Inc. and Macopharma. He is a recipient of multiple honors, including the AABB Hall of Fame, Jean Julliard (ISBT), RISE (AABB), and Boettcher Investigator awards, and is affiliated with the Vitalant Research Institute, the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome, and the Gates Grubstake Center for Regenerative Medicine.
